Don't Take It Personally


If your kid says, "It looks like you have a baby in there" - don't take it personally

If your friend says, "Why don't you spend any time with me, all you do is work-out" - don't take it personally

If your parents say, "What, are you anorexic now, you won't even eat dessert" - don't take it personally

If your boss says, "All this talk about health and weight loss is distracting you" - don't take it personally

If your friend says, "That's dumb, its not worth it anyway, genetics determine what your body is like" - don't take it personally

If your Phy Ed teacher says, "Let's put him in outfield" - don't take it personally

If you finish last in a 5K and no one is left to clap at the finish line - don't take it personally

If you fall over on your bike while clipped in to the pedals and look like a fool - don't take it personally

If you catch someone staring at you because everything jiggles when you work out - don't take it personally

If people make fun of you for what you eat - don't take it personally

If people make fun of you for what you don't eat - don't take it personally

If you have doubts and fears that you can accomplish this - don't take it personally

If you are scared about trying something new - don't take it personally

If your neighbor thinks you are wasting your time - don't take it personally

If you are embarrassed by what you look like/smell like after working out - don't take it personally

If people around you look better in spandex than you do - don't take it personally

If a friend passes you on a run/bike/whatever - don't take it personally

Keep doing it anyway......
